Ridder Runs for National Board of Directors

John Ridder, Ridder Hereford Ranch, Callaway, Neb., is running for the American Hereford Association Board of Directors.



CALLAWAY, Neb. – Nebraska has a candidate running for the National Board of Directors of the American Hereford Association. John Ridder, a registered Hereford Breeder from northwest of Callaway, has cleared the first step in his run for a seat on the National Hereford Board.


The owner and manager of the 114-year-old Ridder Hereford Ranch, in central Neb. said it is an honor to be considered. “If I am elected by this year’s delegates,” Ridder added, “I will work hard to represent breeders across the nation.”


Ridder and his wife Mary’s family includes 6 children, 2 daughter-in-laws, a son-in-law, and 5 grandchildren. They host

an annual spring sale where they market yearling and 2-year-old bulls, and yearling open heifers.


John would appreciate the support of the state delegates, and would work hard to represent you on the National Board.
