Area nominations can be made by current voting members in their respected area. This is a great time to take care of 2026 - 2027 dues that began on October 1, 2026. The two members receiving the most nominations and are willing to accept will be placed on the voting ballot. Additional names may be placed if tie occurs.

Nominations for the At-Large position will come from the floor during the annual meeting.

The Nebraska Hereford Association will present the following awards honoring outstanding membership and promotion of the Hereford breed.

- Young Promoter of the Year
- Heritage Breeder of the Year
- Commercial Breeder of the Year
